Jack Thomas

Oh my... 6 years old now. What a handful! lol.... Jack is doing great. He is doing super in school and according to his teacher is so very sweet and smart ;)  He is currently playing tball. We are supposed to have his first game tonight. We shall see if we are still on as it has been raining now for a few days. This little guy has been a light in all of our lives. His smile makes the heart warm. He has the sweetest heart and comes up with the most off the wall comments. We are still having to explain what is and what is NOT funny to say and do sometimes, hehehe, but will be the first to volunteer his help. He has the memory of a elephant too... Kid forgets NOTHING! You can't slip a thing by him :) He is looking forward to the summer and getting to sleep in the mornings. He is not a morning person for sure, just like his Mommy!

Haley

Haley is doing wonderfully here in Texas. She is currently playing softball on a fast pitch U15 team and the season is about to get started. Should be interesting as she is the youngest girl on the team. I am a little concerned about her safety but she loves to play. She has also been quite active with her Girl Scouting and she is doing very well in school. She is looking forward to becoming a 8th grader this fall. 8th grade is considered the last year of middle school here before moving on to high school. Mom is beginning to feel a little old1 Haley is loving meeting new people and making great new friends. We are busy planning her 13th birthday party now. We have decided on a Whirly Ball/Laser Tag party for her and 9 friends. It should be a fun time.

Jessica

Totally new at blogging but thought I would give it a try. Life seems so busy lately and some have asked how we are doing. Hopefully this will be a way to let you all know at the same time and stay in touch.

As you might know our Jessica is well into her senior year here and is looking forward to moving out and starting college. After applying to what seemed like EVERYWHERE she has made a decision to attend the Honors College at the University of Alabama. We have visited and met many great people at the school. This seems to me like it will be a great fit for her to embark on her new chapter in life. I am greatful to have family in Alabama who live nearby calming the Mommy fears as she will be 10 hours away from home. I am sure it will be rough at the beginning but I am very excited for her to explore new horizons. Rooooooooooooll Tide :)
